4000 FOLLOWER Q&A!

Hey loves,

First of all, I’d like to thank you all so much for following my blog and helping me grow! I’m so happy to have over 4000 of you following my blog! Today, I’m going to be doing a Q&A to answer some questions that you guys have asked me! I hope you enjoy reading!

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because I just really wanted to have my own platform to create content and to be able to connect with others and I just felt having a blog would help me fulfil that.

How did you choose your blog name?

If you’ve read any of my blogposts, you would have realised by now that I tend to ramble on and on at times and since my name is Rabia, I thought Rabia Rambles had a ring to it!

How do you find stuff to write about?

I write about stuff I love and stuff I love to read, I never force myself to create content, I wait for when I’m in the mood to write and I just do!

In the society we live in today it’s hard for people to love themselves, so what’s the one thing you love about yourself?

This one is quite hard I guess but I think it’d have to be how I handle situations and overcome problems, I think I’m quite good at coping with tough times.

How do you plan to manage blogging with university studies? Would you be dedicating certain amount of time a week/certain days a week?

I talked about this in more detail in my Beginner Blogger blogpost on this topic which you can read here but I mainly leave blogging to my day off.

Fav blogger?

I don’t really have one specific one, it depends on content for me, I just read about things and topics I love, it doesn’t really matter about the blogger behind it.

How did you decide on which blogging site to use?

I went for WordPress purely because it was the only one I had heard of it and I’m glad I did because even now, I’ve discovered several other platforms but I firmly believe WordPress is the best out of the lot.

When was the turning point for your blogs success?

I’ve had a steady growth since I’ve begun to be honest but the one blogpost that really blew up was my Beginner Blogger post on how to gain exposure and traffic which is kind of ironic really, you can read that here.

How do you keep yourself organised in day-to-day life?

I have my amazing Kate Spade planner that keeps me on top of everything, I colour coordinate events and things I have to do and it really helps me. Making to-do lists and using a daily planner really keeps me on top of things when I have a really busy day!

What’s your favourite thing about where you live?

I think my favourite thing about my City is that it’s small yet so convenient and promising, it’s not overly busy but it has everything you could need in an area.

What is something you want your readers to know about you or your blog / blogging in general?

Hm, this one is also hard but I think I’d like my readers to know that it’s so easy to connect with me, I always reply to my Instagram DMs and I love making new friends!

At what moment did you recognise your undying love for stationery?

I guess I’ve always had it, I used to hate using new pens and notebooks when I was little because I thought I’d ruin them and I used to always admire high quality paper so I assume I’ve always had a love for stationery.

How is your blog so pretty?!!!! Like tell me how you do this sorcery??

Haha, it took me a while to get my blog to look how I want, I obviously have a bigger dream for how I would love for my blog to look but at the moment, I love it.

What do you like to do outside of blogging?

I love cricket, reading, shopping – you can probably tell that these are all my hobbies if you follow me on Instagram since I post about these topics often on my story!

What are your career plans for the future? Are you planning on continuing your blog as a career, or branching off to something different?

Blogging is mainly a hobby for me, I’ve never thought about it as a career and I probably wouldn’t want to be a full time blogger because I don’t think it’s a stable career. I’m hopefully graduating this year with a BSc in Biomedical Science and after that options are endless, I am hoping to go down a medical career but we shall see where life takes me!

If you could be any kind of ice cream, which would you be?

Mint choc chip as that’s my favourite flavour.

How do you keep yourself motivated with your blog?

The truth is – I don’t. It’s a hobby so I do it when I want to, when I’m in the zone because that’s how my content is at its best otherwise everything seems forced and faked. So I just let myself be free with my content, if I don’t feel like writing a blogpost, then I don’t. At one point I was obsessed with stats but now I’m happy getting one like, I think it’s just a matter of development and finding yourself.

So that’s all for this Q&A, if you have any questions for me that I didn’t answer, feel free to comment and I will answer them for you! Thanks for reading and don’t forget to follow my blog and my social media sites to stay up to date with me!

  2. Congrats ❤
My question would be how did you get to so many followers? I feel like you got them so quick but i honestly don't remember how many you had around the time I followed you, so maybe it took you a while?
Anyways, hope you get 4,000 more!

    1. Thanks lovely! The first 2000 came so quickly, I was so shocked but after that, I had a steady growth but I definitely noticed an increase in followers when I was engaging with other bloggers and posting regularly!
