BEAUTY BITS I’VE BEEN LOVING LATELY!

Hey loves!

Today I’m going to be sharing with you some products I’ve been loving and using like crazy recently. I was going to do a general favourites but then I realised that most of the products were beauty products so I thought I’d just focus on that so I hope you enjoy reading this post!

Essence ‘Sculpting Volume’ Lash Princess Mascara

I’ve already mentioned the Essence False Lash Effect Lash Princess Mascara on my blog before, it was my absolute favourite and if you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen my mini haul when I purchased this mascara and since then, I’ve been using it almost every day and I am obsessed! It makes my lashes look unreal and thick, and it’s definitely a staple product for me now. I highly recommended this mascara as it’s so cheap and affordable but it does such a good job!

MUA Eyebrow Pencil

I’m going to start off by saying this product was only a POUND!!! That is unbelievable because it’s really good and it’s the perfect colour for my eyebrows. I have this in the shade black/brown and usually it’s hard finding a product that’s in between brown and black, because my eyebrows aren’t brown but they’re not black either however this product is a perfect match. It goes on really smoothly and I’ve been enjoying using this product that I will most definitely purchase again!

Eyelash Curler

This is a bit random but I’ve never had an eyelash curler that made that much of a difference to my lashes till I bought this one. I can’t go without curling my eyelashes nowadays, I can just see so much of a difference when I do. I got this from Poundland because one, my old curler was just yucky and two, it was copper and I am a sucker for copper things. Did I think it was going to be as good as it is? NO but oh my gosh, I’m so glad I bough it.

Sleek Matte Me in ‘Birthday Suit’

Superdrug had a half price sale on all their sleek products (which I also announced on Instagram) so I got the infamous Birthday Suit lip cream for only £2.45 which is insane! I love it so much because it’s the only lip product that I’ve used that lasts longer than an hour on me. It’s super pretty and pink and it feels super light and moisturising on the lips.

Essence Shine Shine Shine Lipglosses

Summer screams lipglosses to me and even though it’s been snowing here lately, I’ve been enjoying wearing lipglosses. I picked these up for £2 each and they’re my favourite go to lip product, that I wear all the time. They look so good and there was a huge colour selection, I got ’10 – dress up our lips’ and ‘5 – so into it’ and I love them so much. I must try out the Essence Matt Matt Matt lipglosses as well! The formula is so good, they taste great and they’re not sticky at all!

Makeup Revolution Lipstick in ‘Chauffeur’

This has become my go to nude lipstick, perfect for everyday. It looks so natural and it’s my perfect nude. I do also love the packaging, it looks so elegant and more expensive than it is, I think this was around £3 which for a really good lipstick isn’t bad at all. It’s not drying and I’ve had this for about 3 months and I’ve used it so much already.

Nivea Urban Skin 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask

This was kindly sent to me by Nivea, the whole range was but this is the product I’ve been loving. The first time I wore it, it stung the crap out of my face and I was like “what is this?” but after using it a few more times, it leaves my face feeling so soft and smooth and refreshed so I would highly recommend this product. It’s quick and easy, you only leave it on for a minute and then you can wash it off or remove it with a cotton pad. They have two other types as well, one for dry skin and one for oily. It’s definitely worth a try!

    1. They have one specially for dry skin and I literally just tried that one today, it smells so good and it left my skin feeling smooth and fresh and my skin is super sensitive too and I haven’t had a reaction so I’d highly recommend it!

  1. I’m intrigued by the Nivea mask. I have sensitive skin and the whole “stinging your face” bit got me concerned but I definitely think I want to try it!! Just started following you; thanks for the informative blog post. =)

    1. Awe thank you!! I was worried about the fact it was stinging too so I washed it off but I decided to give it a go a few days later and it didn’t sting at all!!
