WHAT’S IN MY BAG?! – TRAVEL EDITION!

Hello everyone!

Since I’m going on holiday next week and currently am in the middle of packing, I thought what better blogpost to write than a ‘what is in my travel bag’ since I love reading and watching blogposts and videos on this so without further ado, here is what I have packed in my bag to help me endure this long haul flight.

So this is the bag I’m taking with me, it’s from New Look and I absolutely love it and I feel super lucky because I got the last one in stock. It’s a faux leather tote bag with a suede panel in the middle.

Purse

Of course, the most essential thing to take is my purse because we all love a bit of airport shopping, don’t we?! 😂 My wallet was from River Island and I’m in love with it and the rose gold detailing on it.

Phone

Another essential is my phone which I need to take pictures and also to keep me entertained throughout the journey, although I’m worried about how I’m going to last 8 hours without internet! I’ve downloaded my favourite book and plenty of games & music to last me for some time!

Entertainment

The flight that I’m going on is 8 hours and I need something to occupy myself with something that isn’t my phone. So I went out and bought a colouring book for adults and some puzzle books. The puzzle book I’m keeping in my bag is a sudoko one and I also have to take a pencil case with felt tips in it which adds a bit of weight to my bag but it has to be done!

Toiletry/Makeup bag

This, of course, is another essential, full of things that will allow me to freshen up through out the journey and when we land.

EYE PRODUCT ESSENTIALS – These are my 3 go to products on a day to day basis, my eyeliner, mascara and eyelash curler, I definitely need these in my bag!
IMG_4677
FRAGRANCES – You just have to have something to freshen you up and keep you smelling right, I have two body sprays and a mini pocket perfume spray.

HAND CARE – My hands are constantly dry so I need hand cream and I, for sure need hand sanitiser to protect from the germs out there!
IMG_4679
LIP PRODUCTS – Can’t forget the lips, can we?! I always need a lip balm on hand and I also need my perfect nude lip cream with me for a top up!

TISSUES – A major essential because you just never know when you’re going to need one!

Whilst travelling, you can only carry upto 100ml liquid and it has to be displayed in a clear bag so I have my clear bag handy already!

Sweets

I just gotta have something to munch on in your bag because aeroplane food, for me, is not my cup of tea and I’d much rather have something to suck on so that my ears don’t pop.

Earphones

I would have a panic attack if I left these at home and I would be extremely bored on the plane! My bag comes with a pouch attached so I have just used it to store my headphones so they don’t get tangled with anything else! I also have my adapter to be able to use earphones that don’t have the lightening connector.

Diaries

I cannot possibly go on holiday and leave these behind since I write in these every single day and keeping them in my handbag gives me easy access to them, plus they are quite pocket sized so they’re perfect for my bag.

And that is it! All these things fit in my bag perfectly and it isn’t too heavy and hopefully all these things will help me through a long journey!

Thank you for reading and follow me on my social media sites to keep updated!

    1. Yes I’ve read the whole series, and I loved the second one just as much as the first, however I’d prefer if the third book was based around her rather than her daughter but it was still really good.
And yes, hand food smells amazing and is super moisturising. Thanks for reading x ☺️

  1. So much orgainisation #jealous! I love your bag, its so cut! Also does it really help having something to suck when your ears are about to pop? I’ve also heard it helps to chew something, I hate having my ears pop but I’ve always forgotten to have sweets on hand in the last minute struggle that is packing. Please can I hire you to pack for me in the future? 😉

  3. I have to follow you, since your post a bit different than the usual stuff.

What I like is the adult coloring book, I was not aware of it and 2nd writing pad. First I thought to suggest you, to put it on notepad in phone. Than I thought this is much better to write by hand.

    Excellent post
